This charming gastro pub first opened its doors 12 years ago and has been wowing its customers ever since, with its delightful daily changing Modern European menu and stylish but relaxed interior. Located in an affluent residential area of North London, it serves an unpretentious, rustic seasonal menu utilising the finest artisan produce, often organic. Everything is made in house, from the bread to the pickles and chutneys to the ice creams. The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef to join the friendly team, who is competent in all areas of the kitchen, has a calm, good humoured temperament, is fanatical about and excited by using the best seasonal produce, loves to cook and eat great tasting food but is not obsessed by cooking over-complicated, over- dressed food, understands the virtues and the demands of executing precisely such dishes, loves being a chef and wants to work with like-minded people and be respected and valued and treated in a fair and reasonable manner! The owner really believes in treating the staff with respect and you will only be expected to work 6 shifts a week. As a Sous Chef, you should of course have a decent track record behind you in reputable establishments. In return you will work very good hours and not be flogged to death and receive a very competitive salary of up to 8,000 including bonus.
