As number 2, you will support the Restaurant Manger in managing the FOH team and overseeing all aspects of running a busy, high class 90 cover restaurant. This highly respected restaurant has 3 AA Rosettes and has a loyal following from its well-heeled clientele. It serves lovely Modern European cuisine. A management background in respected restaurants is essential, as is a real love of good food and wine and a genuine passion for providing a brilliant customer experience. Candidates must possess the communication skills to both inspire and train staff and interact with customers and be highly knowledgeable in all technical FOH areas, to ensure that the customer receives the most professional but friendly service possible. The Restaurant Manger is keen to move into operations - the company owns a number of restaurants - and therefore there is great potential for a successful Assistant Restaurant Manager to assume full responsibility for the restaurant as soon as they have proved their capability in the number 2 role.
